What is a syndicate?

Updated Jun 26, 20262 min read

Because there are more of us, we play more entries. A Lottofy syndicate lets you join other players and back a large number of optimised combinations at a price that would be impossible to match on your own.

Playing together

A Lottofy syndicate plays a large number of entries using a formula, an optimised set of combinations designed to maximise prize probabilities. These combinations are visible from the moment the syndicate opens, so you always know what you're playing.

Because the syndicate is open and growing until the cut-off, the final total number of entries is confirmed at closing time. The goal is always to seal as many entries as possible to increase the chances of winning.

You can also check the syndicate's prize history directly on its page, where the statistics from recent draws are always shown.

Playing in a syndicate lets you be part of a volume of entries that no single player could afford alone. That's the real power of playing together.

How prizes are shared

Prizes are split between all participants in proportion to the number of shares each one holds. The more shares you play, the bigger your slice of any prize.

  • Play 1 share and win 1x the prize per share.
  • Play 2 shares and win 2x the prize per share.
  • Play 3 shares and win 3x, and so on.

Does it change my odds?

Each individual entry has exactly the same odds whether played alone or as part of a syndicate. What changes is the total number of entries in play, more entries means more chances of one of them winning, with the prize shared among all members.
