Cut-off times explained
Each draw stops accepting plays shortly before it takes place. Plays after the cut-off go to the next draw automatically, so you never lose an entry.
Understanding cut-off times
The cut-off time is the moment a draw closes for new entries, always a little before the official draw, set by each operator. Any play you place after the cut-off is automatically entered into the next available draw, so your entry is never wasted.
You can always see the live countdown to the next cut-off on each lottery page, and we display the draw date and time clearly before you confirm your purchase.
Enable push notifications and we'll remind you 60 minutes before a cut-off for any draw you're playing. No more last-minute rushes.
Typical cut-offs
A few examples (all times CET, subject to change by the operator):
- Euromillions, cut-off around 19:30 CET on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Powerball, cut-off around 22:00 CET on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- La Primitiva, cut-off around 19:30 CET on Thursdays and Saturdays.
During heavy traffic the operator may close sales early. Always check the live countdown on the lottery page for the most accurate cut-off time.
