How we handle your documents
When you upload a document to verify your identity, it's in safe hands. Here's exactly how we store it, who can see it and how long we keep it.
Where they live
Your documents are encrypted both in transit and at rest. They sit in an isolated storage environment that's completely separate from the rest of the Lottofy platform, meaning they're never accessible through any regular part of the product. Only the people and systems that specifically need them can reach them.
Who can see them
- Our trained verification team, when a manual review is needed.
- Our regulated identity-technology partner, for automated reading and integrity checks.
- A regulator or court, only if compelled by a binding legal order.
Nobody else inside or outside Lottofy can read your documents.
Your documents are never shared with other players, third-party advertisers or any other external party beyond those listed above.
How long we keep them
Identity documents are kept for as long as your account is open, plus the minimum retention period required by anti-money-laundering law. After that, they are permanently deleted. This process is managed internally by our team in compliance with applicable regulations.
