Changes in Mega-Sena drawings due to All Souls' Day Holiday

This week's Mega-Sena drawings, as well as the rest of the lotteries in Brazil, will be affected by changes in the schedule due to the suspension of drawings on Thursday, November 2. Thus, some lotteries will reschedule their dates, while others will simply resume their calendars for the next scheduled drawing.

In Brazil, as in other Latin American countries such as Mexico, it is customary to celebrate November 2nd, known as All Souls' Day or simply Day of the Dead. Therefore, this Thursday, November 2 will be a holiday in Brazil and, according to the rules of Brazilian lotteries, no drawings are held on holidays.

This Thursday, November 2 will coincide with Mega-Sena's Thursday drawing, as well as the drawings of the lotteries Lotofácil, Quina, Timemania and Dia de Sorte, which also hold their contests on Thursdays. All these lotteries will see their calendars altered as follows:

Mega-Sena:

Mega-Sena will hold only 2 drawings during this week, instead of the 3 it regularly holds (every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday). The Tuesday and Thursday drawings will be suspended and a drawing will be added on Wednesday the 1st, so the schedule will be as follows:

Drawing n° 2561 - Tuesday November 1st at 20:00h (Brazilian time)

Drawing n° 2562 - Saturday November 4th at 20:00h (Brazil time)

Lotofácil:

Lotofácil lottery will only suspend the Thursday 2 draw, but will not alter the rest of its calendar (with daily draws from Monday to Saturday), so this week there will be Lotofácil draws on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Quina:

Like Lotofácil, Quina will suspend the Thursday 2 drawing but will not alter the rest of its calendar, which also holds drawings every day from Monday to Saturday. Therefore, this week there will be Quina drawings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Timemania:

Timemania normally organizes 3 drawings per week, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Exceptionally during this week, it will move the Thursday draw to Friday, November 3, holding the Tuesday 31 and Saturday 4 draws as normal.

Dia de Sorte:

Just like Timemania, also the lottery Dia de Sorte holds its drawings every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This week it will exceptionally move the draw from November 2nd to Friday November 3rd, keeping the draws of Tuesday 31st and Saturday 4th as normal.
