Euromillions Big Friday is back with a 130 million euros jackpot
Next Friday, December 2, a new special edition of the Euromillions draw will be held, with a guaranteed jackpot of 130 million euros.

With the arrival of December, not only Christmas celebrations and New Year's Eve begin, but also a very special draw is approaching: the last Euromillions Big Friday of this year, which once again puts at stake a special jackpot of 130 million for the draw on Friday, December 2.
But what is the Euromillions Big Friday?, how can I participate?, how do I win the special prize? In today's post we will tell you everything you need to know to participate in the draw!
What is the Euromillions Big Friday?
It is a special draw of the famous Euromillions lottery, and its particularity is that it draws a special prize of 130 million euros, regardless of the jackpot accumulated to date.
Thus, for example, the jackpot that today is at 77 million euros can give a big jump for next Friday, since 130 million euros will be drawn.
When are the Euromillions Big Friday draws?
There is no fixed date when the Big Friday draws are held, although the European lottery usually holds at least 2 special draws per year. Although the lottery announces the dates of the Big Friday draws some time in advance, historically most of the draws have been held in the months of February and September.
Since the first Big Friday drawing in 2007, there have been 36 special drawings, and next Friday, December 2, will be the 4th and final drawing in 2022.
How to play Euromillions Big Friday
The only thing you have to do to participate in the Euromillions special draw is to buy your ticket for that day's draw. There is no difference between the Big Friday and the rest of the Euromillions draws, except for the size of the special prize guaranteed at 130 million euros.
As in any other EuroMillions draw, you will have to complete your bet by selecting 5 numbers (from 1 to 50) plus 2 stars (from 1 to 12), and wait to match the results of the draw!
What happens if nobody wins the Big Friday prize?
If there is no winner of the first prize (5 numbers + 2 stars), the jackpot is accumulated for the next draw, just as it would happen in any other EuroMillions draw.
For example, in the Big Friday edition of June 17 of this year, when there were no winners, the jackpot continued to accumulate until it reached the historical figure of 230 million. Nowadays, the Euromillions jackpot can accumulate up to a maximum of 240 million without a winner, at which point the prize is distributed among the winners of fewer numbers.
What happens if on the day of the Big Friday the accumulated prize is higher than 130 millions
In case the Euromillions prize has accumulated a value greater than 130 million for the announced day of the Big Friday draw, it is postponed to another date in the future. This happened for example with the Big Friday draw announced for April 2022, which was postponed until the draw that took place in June of that year.
